Men ministry aims at keeping male adults of HBC actively involved in the community as men of God. By being involved in the community as men of God, members are trained and encouraged to take leadership actions as role models in all spectrum of life: as husbands, fathers, neighbors, citizens, church members.
Men ministry educates its members and other members of the community by organizing conferences on various topics and annual revival, among other activities that keep its members active and alert of their responsibilities as role models.
Men ministry creates an environment of fellowship where brothers meet on a regular basis where they have the opportunity to develop more Christ-like character through biblical instruction that equip them to better manage their family, work, and community lives.
Their ultimate goal is to create and promote spiritual growth in every woman in the church. In their ministry the women of God bring in their motherly nature. Their multi-dimensional roles expands beyond just spiritual roles. They nurture the women and the rest of the community with prayer, love, food, just according to the Holy Scriptures. Activities include weekly prayer, rehearsal, visits, and phone calls, monthly fellowship for the whole church.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Every summer, during the first week of August, the children get together for Vacation Bible School. These children participate in bible study, games, cohesive worship, crafts, and excursions. HBC of RI believes in investing in our youth, therefore, we welcome and greatly appreciate donations to our Vacation Bible School. We would love to receive movie tickets, getaways, etc. for the children in order to expand their experience with the Vacation Bible School.
HBC of RI has been involved in providing a helping hand to those in need internationally. We are currently helping a community in Haiti. The community includes a church and a school. Our supports are financial, spiritual, moral, and educational. At this time our efforts are crucial following the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. As of now, the foundations we built in Haiti have been destroyed and we are working to rebuild them in order to have a place to deliver food and necessities for people in need of them. We want to bring a partner back in order to assist in these efforts.
HBC of RI participates in prayer every week with our church members. Occasionally, we welcome additional members from other churches and communities to come and pray with us. We pride ourselves with assisting people with their prayer needs. We invite anybody to send us messages in regards to their prayer needs.
We celebrate the church’s anniversary every year during the last week of July. We enjoy this special time with a week of revival at the church. During this week we invite a pastor from a different community to come preach and speak the word of God at the Haitian Baptist Church of Rhode Island. Throughout the revival, we encourage people to come together as one body of Christ. We also invite church guests from other churches to come and celebrate salvation with us.
We as a church are proud to offer a Food Pantry every Friday from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM. Our pantry provides food for those less fortunate and helps provide for them the basic necessities every person and family needs. We welcome any and all people who are in need of our assistance and will help to the best of our ability.
